  2. Remove the plastic cover over the buttons and put it in a safe place.
  3. Press the mode button on the opener until the light above the remote control icon turns on.
  4. Press and hold the “door down” button on the opener.
  5. While still holding the “door down” button, press and hold the button on your remote for 2 seconds, then release it for 2 seconds.
  6. Press and hold the same button on the remote for another 2 seconds.
  7. When the courtesy light stops flashing, your remote is successfully programmed and ready to use.

How to use a pre-programmed remote to set a second Dominator remote control

  1. Ensure that your current pre-programmed remote is working.
  2. Press and hold the button on the pre-programmed remote that you want to duplicate for 2 seconds, then release.
  3. Using a paper clip, press and hold the centre button on the pre-programmed remote for 2 seconds.
  4. Within 10 seconds, pick up your second remote and press and hold the button you want to program for 2 seconds, then release.
  5. Your second remote should now be programmed and ready to use.
