Sectional garage doors are made up of individual panels or sections. They can have between 3 and 8 individual sections or panels. These individual panels are connected by hinges, allowing the door to bend as it lifts. The door moves overhead, resting parallel to the garage ceiling. Brackets hold the door in place and guide the door to lift up and over. Sectional garage doors use torsion spring systems to operate.

Clearance requirements: With an opener a minimum headroom of 180mm is required. Additionally, you need side room of 120mm on each side and a backspace of your door height plus 1200mm.
